United Methodist Men
Originally chartered in 1950, the local unit of UMM
was reorganized in 1997, adopting as their mission: "To assist men to
know Jesus Christ, to serve Him, to grow spiritually, and seek daily to
do His will." The group holds monthly breakfasts featuring spiritual
messages. The men place special emphasis on fund-raising efforts to
benefit church youth events and support worthwhile community projects.
Come join in.
United Methodist Women
UMW has a history spanning more than 140 years.
Everything we do is designed to be supportive of the national UMW
purpose, which is: to know God and to experience freedom as whole
persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive
fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in
the global ministries of the church. We welcome all women who want to
become members including non-Methodists.
Purpose of United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall
be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience
freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative,
supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through
participation in the global ministries of the church.
