Even before they are born, our children are
valued at First UMC! We celebrate with new parents and grandparents
from the hospital to the home. We've just renovated our nursery
facilities with only the best caregivers and equipment for the
nurturing and care of our littlest lambs. From there we provide a
variety of growth opportunities through Sunday School, Children's
Graded Choirs, Musicals and Dramas, Kids in Action, an Acolyte
program, and After School Weekday program, and parenting classes for
grown-ups. From birth to confirmation, your children-our
children-God's children-and their parents, are important to us!Our Mission Statement
The Infant/Toddler Ministries of First United Methodist Church of Sulphur Springs exists to provide an age-appropriate classroom where even the youngest of babies will be introduced to the concept that Jesus loves them, resulting in the creation of an environment where they feel safe, secure and loved, and therefore begin at the earliest stages of faith to equate these feelings with a loving, caring God and His church.
